The Remote Capture Station (RCS) is similar to a Scan Station, but is intended to be run from remote locations. There does not need to be any physical connection (network) between a Remote Capture Station and the other parts of a TeleForm system. RCS batches can be transferred to Reader at the "home" TeleForm site by FTP (File Transfer Protocol), a network, or saved to a directory that Reader stations can access.
