Optiform & Mi-Co Exhibit at DIA Conference in Boston

After deploying two electronic data capture solutions for clinical trials in 2007 using the Mi-Forms Tablet PC software, Optiform was encouraged to attend this years Drug Information Association conference and exhibit its highly successful solutions in conjunction with Mi-Co.  This year’s conference was well attended and the Mi-Co exhibit drew remarkable attention from attendees as many are seeking more efficient methods of data collection.

The Mi-Forms Tablet PC solution for Case Report Forms (CRFs) was of considerable interest since it allows for simultaneous data collection, data entry, and data validation on an intuitive paper-like interface.  Moreover, this CRF solution stores a complete audit trail including every ink stroke and produces multiple levels of source documentation without any additional effort.  The solution has also undergone third party computer software validation and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance testing.

The DIA exhibition concluded after 4 days and over 400 visitors to the booth.  Based on the level of interest, the Mi-Forms solution proved to be an innovative and effective approach that solves many of the problems faced by those conducting clinical trials.
