Cardiff Partner Summit Meeting 2008

Two members from Optiform travelled to the Cardiff Partner Summit meeting and attended educational sessions related to sales and technical topics, as well as exchanging interesting experiences with Cardiff engineers and executives.

This year’s meeting provided a wealth of information and of particular interest were presentations regarding the following:

• new core licensing for the LiquidOffice eForm management system
• replacement of the TeleForm eForm option with a more feature-rich LiquidOffice version
• new product developments related to Business Activity Monitoring (BAM)
• new product developments related to Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR)
• new product developments related to the IDOL product for classifying content

Highlighting the meeting, Mark Seamans, CEO of Autonomy Cardiff, demonstrated a prototype of a hybrid system that combines Cardiff’s LiquidOffice eForm technology with a voice response technology from eTalk, another Autonomy subsidiary.  This prototype showed how an electronic approval form can be routed to and more easily processed on a Blackberry device by using voice inputs and voiceprint authentication rather than keystrokes and electronic signatures.  This clearly demonstrates new technological advantages available to Cardiff under the Autonomy umbrella of companies.

Each year Cardiff invests significant resources to conduct this well-organized meeting which provides an effective forum for skill and knowledge transfer that ultimately benefits Optiform’s customers.
